Ciprian Balea

Ciprian Balea is a seasoned automation engineer with extensive experience in test automation, quality assurance, and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Staff Automation Engineer at Noom since April 2022, Ciprian leads AI adoption in test automation and previously held the position of Lead Automation Engineer, focusing on architecting test processes and CI infrastructures. With a decade of public speaking experience, Ciprian actively engages as a Public Speaker and Department Leader at large-scale events. Prior to Noom, Ciprian was a Lead Test Engineer at Toptal, responsible for ensuring the quality of mobile projects, and has held key QA roles at 3Pillar Global, Waterford Institute, and Alcatel-Lucent. Ciprian possesses academic credentials, including a Master of Science in Intelligent Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Telecommunications, along with a Certified ScrumMaster designation.
