Johnny Sweeney

Johnny Sweeney is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in economic development and legal support. Currently at NorthPoint Development since March 2018, Sweeney previously held an economic development role with Jackson County from October 2013 to March 2018. Early career experiences include serving as a law clerk for Sporting Kansas City and as a fund accountant with Apollo Capital Management, focusing on quantitative analysis and cash flow reconciliation for hedge funds. Sweeney also contributed to collegiate athletics as an assistant baseball coach at Creighton University and worked as a benefits account administrator at Lockton Companies. Sweeney holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, an MBA in Finance from the same institution, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance from Saint Louis University.
