Georgi Boiko has been working in the field of security since 2014. In 2014, they worked as a Web Developer at mtc., where they had experience in PHP, OOP, Laravel, Symfony, LAMP stack, Git, SOAP, REST, Composer, and PHPUnit. In 2015, they joined Cigital, Inc as a Security Consultant and Associate Security Consultant. In 2016, they transferred to Synopsys Inc as a Senior Security Consultant and Security Consultant, where they had experience in reverse engineering native ARM code, embedded systems and Internet of Things penetration testing, secure design review, network penetration testing, web application penetration testing, Android applications penetration testing, secure source code review and threat modelling, and cyber security training development and delivery. Georgi also had experience in Java, Python, PHP, C, Ubuntu/Debian Linux and a wide range of penetration testing instruments ranging from Burp Suite and Nessus to IDA Pro and Frida. In 2021, they joined NowSecure as a Senior Research Engineer and Security Research Engineer, where they had experience in mobile security, Android, Python, C, TypeScript, Frida, dynamic analysis, static analysis, automation, DevSecOps, GitLab, and CI.
Georgi Boiko obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hons in Ethical Hacking and Countermeasures from Abertay University between 2011 and 2015. In 2016, they received a CREST Practitioner Security Analyst certification from CREST (GB) LTD. In 2018, they obtained a CREST Registered Penetration Tester certification from CREST (GB) LTD.
