Dawn James, CTP, FCA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in treasury management and accounting. Currently serving as Senior Manager in both Treasury Capital Markets and Treasury Operations at NRG Energy since January 2021, Dawn has previously held significant roles, including Group Treasury Manager at Direct Energy and Financial Planning and Analysis Manager at British Gas. Dawn's career began at BDO South Africa, progressing from Audit Trainee to Audit Manager. Educational credentials include an Honours Degree in Accounting from the University of South Africa and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of Johannesburg, as well as professional qualifications from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
