William Hooper

William Hooper is a highly skilled Bioinformatics Scientist at the New York Genome Center, where tenure began in September 2019, having progressed through roles as Senior Bioinformatics Analyst and Bioinformatics Analyst in the cancer domain. Prior experience includes positions at Emmes from June 2017 to September 2019, where William worked as Bioinformatics Programmer II and Bioinformatics Programmer I, along with an internship in Protein Operations at Beryllium in 2016. William holds a Master’s Degree in Biology and a Dual Bachelor’s Degree in Bioinformatics and Molecular Biology as well as Biochemistry and Biophysics, both obtained from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute between 2012 and 2017.
