One of Us
Khalid Shafique is a highly experienced 3D modeller and artist with a strong background in character and creature modelling for film and visual effects. Currently serving as Lead Modeller and Lead Facial Modeller at One of Us since March 2020, Khalid has played key roles in projects such as "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" and "Damsel," where notable contributions include sculpting the hero dragon and creating intricate facial blendshapes. Previous positions include Senior Modeller at Industrial Light & Magic and MPC, where significant projects included "Cats," "Call Of The Wild," and "Dumbo." Khalid has also worked with Framestore, Prime Focus World, and Double Negative, contributing to high-profile films like "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Thor: The Dark World." The breadth of expertise reflects a commitment to quality modelling and a deep understanding of character design in the visual effects industry.

The company ethos is one of creative intelligence applied through filmmakers’ sensibility, with a focus on design and collaboration.
