Cody Hwang

Cody (Injo) Hwang is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in system-on-chip design and video codec development. As Co-Founder of Openedges Technology, Inc. since December 2017, Cody has contributed to the creation of innovative toolkits for Network On Chip code generation, deep learning software, and frame compression. Prior to this role, Cody served as Design Architect at CodeHolics, focusing on social network services and frame compression from January 2011 to October 2015. Cody also held the position of Senior Research Engineer at Chips&Media from November 2005 to December 2010, where responsibilities included developing multi-video codec IPs and managing projects on various video codecs. Earlier in the career, Cody worked as an Associate Research Engineer at Daewoo Electronics, specializing in PVR software and firmware. Cody holds an MSc in SoC Design Automation and a BSc in Electronics from Seoul National University.
