Yan Ming (Ming) Wong is a Senior Occupational Therapist at South Metropolitan Health Service since December 2023, with diverse experience in occupational therapy services. Currently serving as Team Leader in Occupational Therapy Services at ORS Group since August 2020, Ming Wong has focused on promoting independence for NDIS participants. Previous roles include providing pain management interventions at Life Ready Mobile and Aegis Aged Care Group, and supporting individuals with disabilities at Directions Disability Support Services. Ming Wong also served as a Specialised Autism Mentor at Curtin University, aiding students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. An accomplished educator, Ming Wong holds a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Curtin University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacology from The University of Western Australia. Additionally, Ming Wong has leadership experience from a previous role as Director of Organizational Development with AIESEC in Australia.

ORS provides a range of allied health and workplace rehabilitation services across key industries such as the NDIS, Workers Compensation, Health, Injury Prevention and Aged Care. Our service delivery is underpinned by clinically informed, evidence based and person-centered practices which empower others to reach their potential and achieve their goals. We are a registered NDIS provider, ISO 9001 and NSDS certified, Comcare accredited, and are on major workplace rehabilitation panels including: icare, Department of Veterans Affairs, ACT Government, Defence Housing Australia, and Worksafe ACT. We are members of the Australian Association for Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC), Australian Rehabilitation Providers Association (ARPA), Association for Positive Behaviour Support and National Disability Services (NDS). We employ a wide range of Allied Health professionals including experienced and accredited Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Rehabilitation Counsellors, Behaviour Support Practitioners, Speech Pathologists and Registered Nurses who have experience working with complex and high needs clients across all age ranges and disability/injury presentations. A large percentage of our Consultants are culturally and linguistically diverse (32%) with many who also speak other languages including Mandarin, Cantonese and Arabic. ORS proudly employs people with lived experience of disability and with family members with lived experience; and people who identify as LGBTIQA.
