Nima Mehdian is the Head of Operations at P-1 AI, focusing on developing AGI and the Archie AI engineer to enhance efficiency in engineering tasks. Simultaneously, Nima serves as an Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Cambridge, providing guidance to DeepTech and software startups. As an angel investor since 2017, Nima has supported numerous early-stage companies in sectors such as AI and Fintech. Previously, Nima was the CEO of DeepMake, leading efforts to create a video creation suite to compete with Adobe, and held various strategic roles at GoCardless, including Director of Strategy & Business Operations. Nima co-founded 1UP, an innovative sports competition platform, and spent nearly a decade in investment banking at Jefferies, advising on high-value mergers and acquisitions. Nima holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
