Samantha Deacon

Samantha Deacon serves as the Head of Legal at Paragraf® since March 2024, following a tenure as Programme Manager for the impulse programme at the Maxwell Centre, University of Cambridge. With extensive experience in technology and life sciences law, Samantha has held senior associate positions at Goodwin and Taylor Wessing, focusing on strategic transactions and licensing for emerging growth companies, and co-leading the Climate Tech incubator at Goodwin. Prior roles include Legal Counsel at LifeArc, various associate positions at Taylor Wessing and Covington & Burling, and a trainee solicitor role at Hogan Lovells. Samantha's academic credentials include a PhD in Materials Science from the University of Cambridge, alongside advanced legal qualifications and a degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
