Soumya Sastry

Soumya Sastry is a Senior Manager for Structured Energy Transactions in Energy Policy & Procurement at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, having been with the organization since August 2005. Sastry has extensive experience in managing teams focused on compliance and policy implementation, as well as in commercial strategy. Key responsibilities include negotiating various energy transactions and engaging in regulatory affairs. Prior to PG&E, Sastry was an Environmental Scientist at URS Corporation, specializing in regulatory compliance and environmental impacts within the oil and gas sector. Educational qualifications include a BS and MS in Earth Systems from Stanford University.
