Tyler Lockard is a seasoned professional in the visual effects industry, currently serving as a Senior Pipeline Technical Director at Phosphene since May 2023. Prior to this role, Tyler held similar positions at Chicken Bone FX Studios and managed pipeline operations at PowerHouse VFX from March 2018 to June 2022. Tyler's career began with compositing and pipeline technical direction at Alkemy X from February 2012 to March 2018, and included an internship at DIVE. Tyler's early experience also encompasses website administration for multiple organizations between 2008 and 2010. Tyler earned a Bachelor of Science in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics from The Art Institutes, completing the degree in 2011.

Phosphene is an independent design and visual effects house led by founders/co-owners John Bair and Vivian Connolly. Bair and Connolly, who have collaborated on projects since 2005, both love the process of delving into a project during pre-production and helping the director bring his/her vision to life.
