Nicholas M. Orlando

Nicholas M. Orlando is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering management and software development. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Planet DDS since April 2021, Nicholas has also held the position of Software Development Manager. As the Principal Consultant and Owner of Kadmos Technology, LLC since 2017, Nicholas has provided independent software development, consulting, and training services. Prior experience includes the role of Software Engineering Manager at Arhaus, overseeing a team of nine engineers and managing the transition of an eCommerce system to a distributed architecture in Azure. Nicholas has also served as Engineering Director/Product Principal at Trimble Transportation, focusing on data analytics and optimization for the transportation industry, and has held various roles in software development and IT support at other companies. Nicholas holds a B.S. in Computer Science with a Chemistry concentration from John Carroll University.
