PracticingExcellence
Britt Dinatale is currently an advisor at PracticingExcellence. Prior to this, they worked as a project coordinator at the American Nurses Association from December 2020 to March 2022. There, they worked on Project Firstline, a collaborative effort led by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to bring together diverse health care and public health collaborators to provide infection control training to the more than 6 million health care professionals in the United States. This included support to 64 health departments in the U.S. and more than a dozen collaborators.
Dinatale's experience with Project Firstline has prepared their well for their current role as an advisor at PracticingExcellence, where they help others prepare for and respond to infectious disease threats. Britt is also experienced in the prevention of healthcare-associated infections, including those caused by antibiotic-resistant pathogens.
Britt Dinatale has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University, a Master of Music in Ethnomusicology from The Australian National University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wake Forest University. Britt also has a certification from the Project Management Institute as a PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
