Markus Hofmann is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in cloud architecture and network management, currently serving as Senior Director and Principal Infrastructure Architect at Procter & Gamble since January 2006. Hofmann has led significant projects, including the design of architectures for P&G’s vast SAP landscape on public cloud platforms and the successful migration of over 10,000 consumer-facing workloads within eight months. Previous roles at Procter & Gamble included managing network architecture and operations for over 450 locations globally, as well as overseeing the integration of Gillette’s network after a major acquisition. Prior to P&G, Hofmann worked at The Gillette Company, developing network infrastructure and security protocols. Early career experience includes consulting for various firms in Germany after earning a degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt.
