The Sr. Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing programs that generate new leads and advance existing opportunities for the sales/channel team. The CMM is chartered with supporting the sales organization to achieve revenue targets and market growth objectives. They also act as liaison between marketing and inside, partner and field sales teams as well as central demand functions. Specifically, the Regional Marketing Manager - Channel & Events assures strong support for authorized channel reseller and distribution partners and delivers accurate organization, planning and execution of events (online and offline).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support channel marketing activities in strong alliance with reseller/distribution partners, and Promethean sales team for sales growth and revenue enhancement.
  • Create and execute channel communication to ensure that resellers and distribution partners are up to date with new products and enhancements. Including the creation of a content plan for (annual) channel communication and execute weekly E-Shot to reseller-base.
  • Provide text and imagery for updating Channel Portal with local relevant channel content and messaging.
  • Cooperate, integrate and advice on annual marketing plans with distribution as well as with key partners to provide ongoing new touchpoints to brand Promethean via channel activities.
  • Provide marketing advice and guidance on how to carry out the Promethean values and implement correct usage of Prometheans brand guidelines to various stakeholders; share and benefit from best practice.
  • Monitor and manage MDF (named “WKZ/Werbekostenzuschuss”) within allocated budget strongly aligning with regional sales team, approval processed by Head of Sales Central Europe
  • Provide excellent reseller/customer services to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • ROI analyses on channel activities in strong coop with channel partner and Promethean sales team. Events- Develop, plan, organize and (partly) execute various types of events such as trade shows, regional roadshows, other promotional events, online and offline to provide a unique Promethean customer experience.
  • Understand requirements and details of each event (Promethean, channel or third party driven), identify the various target groups and secure a strong communication to increase awareness and activate participation.
  • Collaborate with project team to implement all activities for events within required timeframe and budgets and perform research on all event location and entertainment facilities.
  • Perform research to select appropriate venue for events and or online platform. Assist to set up venue and/or online platform and provide/support logistics for events.
  • Administer and determine an efficient marketing procedure for all events and assist to select all participants and coordinate with all internal and external officials for efficient implementation of all events.
  • Plan and organize pre- and post-event communication to support lead generation, coop strongly with the digital team to improve/feed lead funnel via events and capturing results.
  • Set goals, monitor results, and post event analyzes – to identify and set measurements/KPIs for future event.

Requirements:

  • Project management and/or marketing events management experience preferred but not essential.
  • Experience within channel marketing, highly advantageous.
  • Ability to understand complex tasks and approach them with a can-do-attitude.
  • Ability to negotiate mutually beneficial marketing opportunities with partners and other stakeholders within the education network.
  • Strong interest in new technologies and trends to execute the new forms of online events in excellent manner.
  • Strong organizational skills are essential.
  • Experience and ease with external facing communication in German (both written and verbal).
  • Strong communication and written skills, experience working within matrix structures.
  • Solid marketing knowledge in multi-tier sales structures would be an advantage.
  • Ability to operate with a customer focused/ advocate mindset.
  • Adobe Creative Suite (mainly Photoshop and InDesign) knowledge preferred.
  • Vibrant and energetic attitude, willingness to perform and get things done.
  • Solid analytical skills and focus on KPIs.
