Tom Barr

Tom Barr is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel for Purmo Group since June 2025, overseeing the legal aspects of a leading manufacturer in sustainable indoor climate solutions. In addition, Tom holds a position as Non Executive Director at NOC Innovations since October 2022, contributing to marine science and technology services. Prior roles include Managing Counsel at Wärtsilä, where Tom worked from May 2018 to May 2025, and General Counsel at Transas from May 2016 to May 2018. Previous experience also includes Senior Legal Counsel at Rentokil Initial plc and a foundational legal career at Wragge & Co LLP. Tom has a broad range of international legal expertise, including M&A, international contracts, and corporate governance, and has been recognized in the Legal Business GC Power List: Rising Stars for 2014.
