Abassin Nessar

Abassin Nessar is an experienced political leader and strategic advisor with a strong background in governance, public administration, and international relations. Currently serving as Fractievoorzitter PvdA Provinciale Staten and Strategic Coordinator for Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, Abassin has managed significant portfolios in housing, democratic renewal, and international finance. Previous roles include Chair of the Working Group on Participative Democracy at the Council of Europe, as well as consulting and advisory positions in various governmental and social domains. Abassin holds multiple degrees in Political Science and International Relations from Leiden University, with additional training in political sensitivity and public leadership.
