Olivia Xu is an accomplished individual in the field of artificial intelligence with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Queen's University. Experience includes serving as Head Teaching Assistant for CISC 352: Artificial Intelligence at Queen's University and as an Advisor for the Canadian Undergraduate Conference on Artificial Intelligence, where Olivia played a key role as a lead organizer. As Managing Director at QMIND, Olivia led Canada's largest AI undergraduate organization and managed an annual budget of $80K, overseeing numerous AI design teams and corporate relations. Additional roles include internships at Uber as a Software Engineering Intern, research at the Conflict Analytics Lab as a founding developer of the OpenJustice AI application, and involvement with various organizations including the SMU Centre for AI & Data Governance. Olivia is also recognized as a 2023 Fellow of the Cansbridge Fellowship, showing a commitment to professional development and networking in the field.
