Matteo Ballanti has extensive experience in customer success and support roles, currently serving as Customer Success Lead at Qonto since February 2020, following positions as Customer Success Manager and Customer Success Officer. Prior to Qonto, Matteo worked as a Customer Care Representative at ManoMano, providing product information and processing orders. Additional experience includes serving as an Assistant to Organisation and Policy Campaigning at Zero Waste Europe, where responsibilities included research, policy analysis, and event organization. Earlier roles include an Online Marketing Internship at coLanguage and a Librarian position at Biblioteca O. Pezzoli. Matteo holds a Master's degree in International Relations from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and has completed additional studies in Business Administration and Governance through Erasmus+ programs at various universities.

Qonto was born out of frustration. As new entrepreneurs, Alexandre and Steve felt bogged down by their own banking experience. It was time-consuming. It was complex. It also lacked the modern tools that progressive companies need. So, they decided to create a banking product fit for the modern entrepreneur. One that when you use it, just seems to "click". Our goal? To dust off the old banking experience and be the power pack for small businesses. We are driven by our desire to save our customers time. Time that they can reclaim for forging their own future. And that’s something we think is pretty valuable.
