Dan Owen

Dan Owen is an experienced IT professional currently serving as Associate Director of IT at Quantum-Si since June 2025, overseeing planning and execution of IT systems and services. Prior roles include Director of IT and Information Security at Decision Sciences from November 2022 to June 2025, and Director of IT at Truvian from May 2021 to October 2022. Dan has extensive experience in IT operations, having held the position of Director of IT Operations at Zego from July 2015 to May 2021, and Senior Systems Engineer at The San Diego Union Tribune from February 2013 to July 2015. Dan began career as Information Technology Manager at T.B. Penick and Sons, Inc. from April 2006 to February 2013. Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from UC San Diego, completed between 2001 and 2003, and attended Palomar College from 1998 to 2001.
