Paola Barbarino

Fellow at The RSA

Paola Barbarino serves as the CEO of Alzheimer's Disease International since May 2017, leading the global federation that supports individuals with dementia and their families. In addition, Paola holds positions as a Board Member of the World Dementia Council and a Trustee and Chair of the Development Board at The Postal Museum. Other notable roles include being a Trustee at Lauderdale House, a Fellow at The RSA, and a former Board Member of the NCD Alliance. Paola was previously the Managing Director and founder of Opaline Limited and served as the CEO of LIFE Lebanese International Finance Executives. Earlier experience includes being a Trustee at Shelter UK and holding the position of Director of Development and External Relations at Cass Business School. Paola’s educational background includes two Master of Arts degrees from UCL and studies at Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.
