Imke Schuurmans

Imke Schuurmans is currently a PhD student at Radboudumc, having held this position since December 2020. Previously, Imke worked at BrabantZorg from August 2013 to May 2021 as a horecamedewerker, where responsibilities included cleaning and meal preparation for residents in retirement homes. Imke's research experience includes internships at Radboudumc's Human Genetics Department, Aarhus University focusing on the endocytic receptor megalin, and various roles at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour, including a student assistant position and multiple research internships. Imke's academic qualifications consist of a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Cytohistopathologie from Radboud University and HAN University of Applied Sciences, respectively.
