Maaike Gerritse

Maaike Gerritse is an experienced urogynaecologist currently serving as the chairperson of the working group for the revision of the stress incontinence decision aid at NVOG since September 2023. Additionally, Maaike leads the guideline steering group for pelvic floor and proctology at Kennisinstituut medisch specialisten as of May 2024. Maaike has held various roles at Ziekenhuis Gelderse Vallei since May 2017, including urogynaecologist and chairperson of the quality commission. As a PhD student and gynaecologist at Radboudumc since February 2014, Maaike has also contributed to NVOG’s quality documents from April 2013 to December 2022. Previous positions include fellow in urogynaecology at Isala and training as a gynaecology resident (AIOS) at Diakonessenhuis and UMC Utrecht. Maaike holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Utrecht University, obtained between 1997 and 2004.
