David Surovik

David Surovik is a Research Scientist at RAI Institute since October 2022, with prior experience at Perceptive Automata, where innovative prototypes for State-of-Mind AI were developed to enhance autonomous vehicle functions. David's academic tenure includes a postdoctoral role at the University of Oxford, focusing on learning-based schemes for dynamic locomotion, and a similar capacity at Rutgers University, where locomotion control strategies for NASA's tensegrity rover prototype, SUPERball, were established. Additional experience encompasses internships at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, contributing to the Rosetta mission's navigation support, and research at the University of Colorado Boulder, culminating in a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering.
