Jose Oscar Mur-Miranda

Jose Oscar Mur-Miranda is a Research Scientist at The AI Institute since December 2023, following a position as an Electrical Engineer at PA Consulting from July 2021 to April 2023. Prior to that, Jose served as a Visiting Scholar at Laspau from March 2018 to February 2023 and worked as an Electrical Engineer at Cooper Perkins, Inc. from May 2018 to July 2021. Jose's academic career includes significant experience at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, where Jose held the positions of Associate Professor and Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering from August 2005 to February 2018. Jose holds a PhD, MEng, and SB in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
