Tom Blough

Roboticist at RAI Institute

Tom Blough is a seasoned roboticist with extensive experience in engineering and research. Currently leading fabrication efforts at RAI Institute since October 2023, Tom is involved in a robotics project funded by Hyundai and headed by a founder of Boston Dynamics. Previously, at Harvard University’s School of Engineering from July 2020 to October 2023, Tom served as a Senior Staff Engineer focusing on the creation and testing of robotic devices. Prior roles include Senior Staff Engineer at the Wyss Institute at Harvard Medical School, Director of Engineering for True Temper Sports’ China operations, and Vice President of Engineering at Royal Precision. Early career experiences also encompass positions at Ben Hogan Company and LTV Aircraft Products Military Division. Tom holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington.
