John Ritsko

John Ritsko, GISP, is a skilled Geographic Information Systems professional with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as the Geographic Information Systems Manager at the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada since June 2013, Ritsko has also held the roles of GIS Supervisor and Senior GIS Analyst. Previous experience includes a position as Senior GIS Specialist at the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, where Ritsko focused on upgrading GIS systems, and as a GIS Analyst for the City of Henderson, responsible for flood control infrastructure. Ritsko began a career in GIS at the Las Vegas Valley Water District and has a foundational background as a Sergeant of Marines in the United States Marine Corps. Ritsko holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science with a focus on Management Information Systems from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
