Cooper Nelson

Cooper Nelson is a Graduate Research Assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where research has been conducted since September 2020. Prior experience includes a Student Internship at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission from June to August 2019 and a role as a Cashier at Shaw's Supermarkets from June 2014 to August 2017. Additionally, Cooper worked as a Junior Staff Member at Foxcroft Academy during the 2016-2017 academic year. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering obtained from the University of Maine in 2020 and currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, expected to be completed in 2025.
