Position Responsibilities
Programmatic Support for Education Solutions Sprints (70%)
Assisting in the development of two Education Solutions Sprints, including but not limited to:
Conducting desk research and analysis of policies and programs, existing resources, and potential speakers;
Building out a well-organized electronic filing system for each Education Solutions Sprint;
Drafting tools and resources (e.g., agenda templates, attendance trackers, team action plans); and
Drafting communications.
Meeting Support (20%)
Supporting RFA’s Summer 2025 Education Advisory Board virtual meeting (e.g., notetaking, draft communications, attendance tracking); and
Preparing for, supporting, and attending meetings with internal teams and external partners as needed, (e.g., draft agendas and communications, notetaking).
Miscellaneous (10%)
Providing support in the form of desk research, drafting resources and communications, and administrative support (e.g., notetaking, developing electronic filing system) for other education team projects as assigned.
Position Reporting Relationship
The Summer Intern, Education, will report to the Director, Education Policy Implementation.
Rate of Pay
Individuals with 1-4 years of postsecondary education or relevant work experience in government or nonprofit organizations will be paid $27/hour.
Individuals with 5 or more years of postsecondary education or relevant work experience in government or nonprofit organizations will be paid $32/hour.
The exact work schedule will be determined in coordination with the relevant RFA program lead.
