Timsi Rao

Timsi Rao is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in molecular biology and structural biology. Currently serving as Associate Director at Ring Therapeutics since June 2023, Timsi previously held principal and senior scientist roles at BlueRock Therapeutics from May 2020 to July 2023, and worked as a scientist at Omega Therapeutics from March 2018 to May 2020. Earlier experience includes a postdoctoral associate position at Yale University where Timsi focused on DNA repair pathways, earning a Young Investigator Award for research on FAN1. Timsi's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Structural Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder, complemented by a Master's degree in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Timsi's expertise encompasses a range of biophysical techniques and significant contributions to understanding biomolecular structures and interactions.
