Dr Katrin Gerber

Dr. Katrin Gerber is a highly experienced academic and researcher with a strong focus on psychology and end-of-life decision making. Currently serving as a Research Fellow and Adjunct Research Fellow at RMIT University since June 2023, and as an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne since November 2020, Dr. Gerber has held various prestigious roles including Research Fellow at the National Ageing Research Institute and Casual Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Queensland University of Technology. With a PhD from the University of Melbourne, Dr. Gerber's research examines critical aspects of care and decision-making for terminally ill patients and their caregivers, complemented by extensive tutoring and teaching experience. Previous roles include tutoring, online instruction in dementia care, and research assistance in developmental psychology, alongside a commitment to family caregiving duties.
