Tom Stadfelt

Tom Stadfelt is an accomplished mechanical engineer with extensive experience in production management and engineering roles across the aerospace and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as the Propulsion Production Manager at Rocket Lab since January 2021, Tom specializes in engine and pump assembly, machining, welding, and testing. Prior experience includes a significant role at SpaceX as Production Manager for Launch Vehicle Sub Assemblies, where Tom oversaw the fabrication and testing of various components, and previously held managerial and supervisory positions at Glidewell Dental Lab, where Tom led operations and drove manufacturing efficiencies. Tom's expertise is supported by a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
