Alessandra Carneiro is an experienced reporter and producer currently working at Rogers Sports & Media as a Reporter/Producer for CityNews since December 2024. Alessandra previously served as a News Anchor and Video Journalist at CTV News from October 2018 to November 2024, where responsibilities included anchoring weekend broadcasts. Prior experience includes roles at Bell Media as a Weekend Anchor and Video Journalist, along with a position as a Radio Sales Advertising Coordinator, providing support for advertising campaigns. Alessandra began the career as a Morning Show Assistant at 104.5 CHUM FM and contributed to promotions at 99.9 Virgin Radio. Earlier work includes reporting for Cogeco Média, covering local news in the Greater Niagara Region. Alessandra holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Media Communication from Brock University, earned between 2012 and 2016.
