Vovee Batala

Vovee Batala is an experienced creative professional in the fields of music production, sound engineering, and radio drama. Since March 2012, Vovee has served as a Creative Producer and Radio Drama Producer at SABC, contributing to casting, recording, sound design, and producing content for SABC Education Drama. Vovee also held roles as a Drama Director and Music Compiler at trufm SABC, where responsibilities included music compiling and radio program scheduling. Concurrently, Vovee has co-managed VMP since February 1999, collaborating with notable figures in the Eastern Cape gospel music scene. As the Managing Director of Vovee Music since January 1996, Vovee oversees the operations of a record label, focusing on artist management and mentoring. Previous experience includes ownership of Vovee Music Productions and working as a Sound Engineer and Producer for ZAKO RECORDS/EMI from 1999 to 2003. Educational background includes attending Xolani High School.
