Carly Tran

Carly Tran is a Research Associate at Santa Ana Bio, starting in December 2023, previously serving as a Research Assistant. Prior experience includes work as an Undergraduate Researcher at Marriott Lab from January 2023 to July 2023, where significant contributions were made to the development of a model liposomal drug delivery system and the engineering of biosensors using fluorescence dye indicators. Earlier, at Kumar Lab from May 2021 to September 2021, Carly gained proficiency in various molecular biology techniques, including PCR, qPCR, and DNA/RNA purification, while supporting post-doctoral research efforts. Carly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, obtained in May 2023.
