Alex Thomas

Alex Thomas is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in sports reporting and broadcasting. Currently serving as a Journalist for Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) Australia and as a Presenter Anchor Host Producer at Sky News Australia, Alex also reports for Al Jazeera Media Network as a Correspondent, covering notable events such as the FIFA Women’s World Cup. Previous roles include Sports Anchor at CNN, where Alex covered major global sporting events, and a Sports Reporter/Presenter at Sky Television. Alex's career began as a Sports Reporter at LBC & News Direct, and includes freelance work for BBC News. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Warwick.
