David Miller has extensive experience in management and sales, currently serving as Manager of Alpine and Baden Powell Activity Centres at Scouts NSW since September 2019, and previously as Engagement Manager for the Cataract Activity Centre. In these roles, David has excelled in overseeing operations, achieving financial and strategic goals, and implementing risk management principles. Earlier, David held various positions in sales, including as Managing Owner at Minuteman Press Campbelltown and in sales roles at One Steel Building Services and Prochem, where skills in account development and relationship management were demonstrated. David's educational background includes a HSC from Homebush Boys High School.

Scouts NSW provides young Australians aged 5 to 25 with fun and challenging opportunities to grow through adventure. With over 18,000 youth and adult members from various cultural and religious backgrounds and with varying abilities, Scouts is one of the largest and most successful youth organisations in New South Wales. Today’s Scouts can take part in an extraordinary variety of outdoor activities, from ‘traditional Scouting skills’ such as camping and bush craft, through to more extreme challenges such as abseiling, overnight hiking, rafting, canoeing, canyoning, snow activities, rock climbing, sailing and even flying! Scouts can also become involved in performing arts, leadership development, community service, amateur radio operation, environmental projects, large-scale Australian events such as Cuborees, Jamborees and Ventures, international events, and service projects in developing countries. At Scouts NSW, we put the needs of young people first. Our youth led, adult supported approach ensures our youth members are always at the forefront of our program and gives them the platform to take a constructive place in society as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.
