Marcus Jacobs

Marcus Jacobs has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Marcus currently serves as the COO and co-founder of Seidr, where they are involved in building a new, cross-platform pc/console game. Prior to this, they engaged in board work, advising, and investing. From 2020 to 2022, Marcus held the position of Chief Commercial Officer at Embark Studios. Marcus spent a significant portion of their career at King, where they held various roles including SVP of Candy Crush and Business Performance, Head of King Publishing, and led teams in machine learning, AI, and advanced analytics. Before that, Marcus worked as the Director of Monetization at Electronic Arts and as the VP of Skill Games at King.com. Marcus also served as a Business Unit Manager and Product Manager at Jadestone. In addition, Marcus has previously owned Binary Eleven, a web design company, and Tomahawk Data & Webdesign. Early in their career, they worked as a Researcher at Quadratus.

Marcus Jacobs began their education at Rönninge skola from 1982 to 1992. Following this, they attended Stockholm University from 1996 to 2000, earning a Bachelor's degree in Economics. Marcus then pursued two Master of Science degrees, first in General Law at Stockholm University from 1997 to 2002, and then in Business Law at Linköping University from 1997 to 2001.
