John Vella has over two decades of experience in the financial industry, with a strong focus on mortgage origination and servicing. John is currently serving as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Selene Finance LP since June 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Chief Revenue Officer at Altisource Portfolio Solutions from April 2010 to June 2021, where they were responsible for driving growth initiatives and developing key client relationships. John also served as the Executive Vice President - Special Servicing at GMAC Mortgage from October 2008 to April 2010 and as the CEO of EMC Mortgage at Bear Stearns from March 2005 to October 2008. Earlier in their career, they held positions at Option One as CSO and at Household Auto as CEO.

Founded in 2007, Selene was created to provide loan resolution strategies for distressed mortgage investment portfolios.
