Eleanor Tanner

Eleanor is the director of people at Shoosmiths, responsible for people strategy, core HR, recruitment, reward and benefits, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, and corporate social responsibility, she leads a team supporting over 1,400 people across Shoosmiths’ 13 locations.

Before joining Shoosmiths, Eleanor was head of human resources EMEA at Macquarie Group. Earlier in her career she was an employment lawyer at a city firm.

She is a trustee of Galop, the LGBT+ anti-abuse charity, and chair of its people sub-committee.

Eleanor has an honours degree in Law and French Law from the University of Oxford.
