Derek Sutton

Director - Enterprise Architecture & Infrastructure at SickKids Foundation

Derek Sutton, CISSP, has extensive experience in information technology and enterprise architecture, currently serving as the Director of Enterprise Architecture & Infrastructure at SickKids Foundation since August 2017. Prior to this role, Derek held various positions at Sanofi Pasteur from June 2007 to July 2017, including Director - Canadian Site Head and Site Project Lead - IT Industrial Operations, where responsibilities encompassed IT activities for the Canadian Vaccine Site and collaboration on manufacturing systems. Derek also served as Deputy Director of IS Infrastructure Services at Sanofi Pasteur, overseeing a range of IT support services. Earlier in Derek’s career, significant roles at ING Bank included Manager of Help Desk and Application Support, contributing to the establishment of the internal help desk. Derek's academic qualifications include an Honours BA from the University of Toronto and advanced management courses at McGill University.
