Beth Lloyd

Beth (Albarran) Lloyd is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in law and professional development. Currently serving as the Director of Professional Development at Sidley Austin LLP since July 2014, Beth previously held roles as Senior Professional Development Manager and Manager of Training and Development for the Dallas and Houston offices, where responsibilities included managing training for over 100 lawyers and collaborating with key partners to address development needs. Prior to this, Beth was an Associate Attorney at Vinson & Elkins LLP from September 2007 to January 2014, focusing on restructuring and reorganization law across various industries, and drafting numerous transactional documents. Earlier legal experience includes serving as a Law Clerk and Summer Associate at Schwartz, Junell, Greenberg & Oathout, where Beth conducted legal research and drafted memoranda on federal and state issues. Education includes a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center and a BBA in Financial Consulting from Southern Methodist University.
