John Cummins

John Cummins is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software development and engineering management across various companies. Currently serving as the Head of Software at Skykraft since December 2023, John has previously held similar leadership positions at Transcelestial and NTT Ltd., where John directed large R&D teams and advanced cloud services. As Senior Director of Engineering at Symantec, John managed a significant engineering team and operational support across multiple data centers. John co-founded Qubit Consulting Pty Ltd, focusing on Service Oriented Architecture and business development. Earlier roles at Sun Microsystems saw John leading global consulting teams and championing Java technology. John has a Master of Science from Birkbeck, University of London, and a Bachelor of Applied Science from Queensland University of Technology.
