Reporting to the Global PMO Director, dotted line with the Group CIO, the IT Project Manager will be responsible for defining the project structure and steps to its accomplishment. The candidate will gather the interested parties and follow all activities to make sure they are accomplished in time.
This person will be supervising projects to ensure they follow the timeline, ensuring the team follows all required procedures, analyzing the workload and each employee’s response to it regularly, making sure team members meet deadlines within the allocated budget, and report project risks to the stakeholders.
This person will act as leader, influencing the global IT operations and all others involved in projects where IT is involved.
Duties and Responsibilities
Create project structure and documentation
Regularly follow on project advancement and identify risks
Actively monitor all project activities
Gather everyone involved in IT related projects and see that everyone’s contribution and efforts are clearly defined in time.
Coordinate IT, the users, suppliers, consultants and stakeholders in the accomplishment of the goals
Act as watchdog on tasks accomplishment by all parties, making sure team members meet deadlines within the allocated budget
Ensure the team follows all required procedures (Financial, ISO, Health & Safety, Security Policies, etc)
Produce and maintain IT projects dashboards
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years in IT project coordination
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Understanding of IT technical challenges
Strong leadership skills
Project management skills to assign tasks and meet strict deadlines
Effective written and oral communication skills
Risk management skills to assess technical strategies and security controls
Understanding of IT development and “going into production” processes
Preferred experience
Experience in implementing softwares in a manufacturing environment is a strong advantage
Education requirements
· Bachelor in IT, PMI certification or related experience
