Gil Dror has a comprehensive work experience in various technology roles. Gil is currently the Chief Technology Officer at SmartSense by Digi since June 2022. Prior to that, they held the same position at CareMetx, LLC from January 2022 to June 2022. From December 2017 to January 2022, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Human Care Systems, Inc., where they led technology and innovation in the healthcare industry.
Before that, Gil worked as the VP of R&D at Blustream Corporation from October 2016 to November 2017, where they introduced and led Agile adoption and developed wireless products. Gil also served as the Director of R&D at Fung Group from September 2015 to October 2016, leading technology for Fung Global Retail & Technology group.
From May 2012 to September 2015, they were the VP of R&D at Profitect, Inc., responsible for product development, operations, and compliance. Prior to that, they held the position of Director Software Development at Accelrys from January 2012 to May 2012.
Gil also has experience at VelQuest Corporation, where they held the roles of Director of Software Engineering from February 2009 to January 2012 and Senior Software Engineer from August 2005 to August 2008. During this time, they managed enterprise-class software development and implemented innovative programs for global pharmaceutical companies.
Their early career includes a role as a Software Engineer at Knowledge Management Associates from 2004 to 2006.
Throughout their career, Gil Dror has demonstrated leadership in technology development, innovation, and agile practices across diverse industries, including healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and retail.
Gil Dror attended Northeastern University from 2014 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Technology. In November 2017, they obtained a Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org.
