Sumanth Nayak has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Sumanth began their career as a Systems Analyst at IGATE in 1997, where they worked until 1999. Sumanth then moved on to become an Onsite Coordinator and Subject Matter Expert at IGATE from 2000 to 2006, leading and managing various firm-wide initiatives. Following this, Sumanth joined IGATE again in 2006 as a Senior Project Manager, demonstrating their ability to manage large development teams and oversee day-to-day operations. In 2008, Sumanth joined Societe Generale Global Solution Centre as a Senior Project Manager, and over the years, they progressed to roles such as Vice President, Senior Vice President, and Head of HR Business Partners. Their most recent position at Societe Generale is Chief Human Resources Officer, a role they have held since January 2022. Sumanth's work experience showcases their expertise in project management, HR strategic planning, and leadership.
Sumanth Nayak completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science from Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology, between 1993 and 1997. Prior to that, they pursued Science at Mithibai College of Arts Chauhan Institute of Science and A.J. College of Commerce and Economics from 1991 to 1993. Going further back, they attended MBHS for their primary education from 1981 to 1991. In addition to their formal education, Sumanth obtained certification as a SHRM - Certified Professional from SHRM in 2017.
