Benjamin Levin

Benjamin Levin has worked in the field of biophysics and enzymology since 2003. From 2003 to 2007, they were a Research Assistant and Tutor at the University of Rochester. Benjamin then obtained their PhD in Bioinorganic Chemistry from Boston University in 2007, where they also worked as a Tutor. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Postdoctoral Scholar at Dartmouth College, where they worked to elucidate in vivo cytochrome c - cardiolipin interactions in C. elegans. In 2015, they joined X-Chem, Inc. as a Research Scientist, where they worked side-by-side with a talented group of associates and scientists to express and purify proteins from E. coli, mammalian, and insect cell lines. Benjamin also worked as an Independent Contractor for X-Chem, helping to establish and outfit their dedicated space. In 2020, they moved to Dewpoint Therapeutics as a Senior Scientist, Global Protein Lead, where they were responsible for supervising and coordinating internal and CRO resources for protein production. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Stablix, Inc. as a Senior Scientist, where they are leading the charge in biophysics and enzymology, and is responsible for supervising and coordinating CRO resources for protein production, biochemistry, and biophysics.

Benjamin Levin obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry, (Biochemistry, Biophysics) from the University of Rochester between 2003 and 2007. Benjamin then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from Boston University, which they completed in 2013.
