Brian Allen

Brian Allen, JD, LL.M. currently serves as Senior Tax Counsel in the Tax Planning & Controversy Group at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. since June 2021, where responsibilities include designing and leading tax planning strategies for the company’s divestitures and reinvestments. Previously, Brian held the position of Senior Tax Counsel at Air Products from September 2014 to June 2021, focusing on tax planning related to non-core business divestitures and significant investments amid an activist investor engagement. Earlier experience includes serving as Associate Attorney in the Tax Group at Pepper Hamilton LLP and Linklaters. Brian holds an LL.M. in Tax Law/Taxation from New York University and a Juris Doctor from Washington University in St. Louis, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts from Boston University.
