Start Proud aims to connect LGBTQ+ students with employers, while promoting the development of LGBTQ+ professionals, and celebrating the achievements and service of those in the community.
We facilitate the professional development of LGBTQ+ students as they transition from school to career in order to build a national network within the community. Our vision is to empower members of the LGBTQ+ community to be Canada’s leaders of tomorrow, where all institutions embrace inclusiveness within the workplace and diversity within the workforce.
Reporting to the VP Operations, you will be instrumental in ensuring our website's seamless operation and triumph. Your vital contribution to managing and optimizing our website performance and providing pivotal support in project coordination across the organization will be highly valued. This multifaceted role forms the backbone of StartProud's digital landscape and is key to optimizing our operational processes, fuelling our continued growth, and driving our success story forward.

Inspire students to utilize their confidence, skills and knowledge that will enable them to distinguish themselves and act as leaders of the Canadian community. 2. Connect students with fellow peers, professionals and members from pro-LGBTQA organizations to establish their network. 3. Foster mentorship by exposing students to strong leaders and role models that have paved the way for the LGBTQA community. 4. Establish a positive public profile of the advancement of the LGBTQA community in the Canadian workforce and communities within which we operate.
